What we collect

We do not collect, store, log, or transmit your queries or any personal data. LMCTFY is a client-side share-link tool with no user accounts and no backend that receives your input.

What we store

We do not use a database or store your queries. We use Google Analytics to collect aggregated, anonymous usage data (such as page views and general traffic patterns). Google may set cookies or use similar technologies as described in Google's Privacy Policy. We do not profile visitors beyond that analytics data.

What happens to your query

When you type a question, it is sanitized in your browser and encoded into a share URL or sent directly to the AI service you choose (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, or Duck.ai). LMCTFY never receives, records, or retains that text on our servers.

Third-party services

When you follow a generated link or open a destination, you leave LMCTFY and interact with a third-party service. Those providers have their own privacy policies and may collect data according to their terms. We are not responsible for their practices.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
